Welcome to NorwayBears.com the home page of
"Den Norske Bamseklubben" - the Norwegian bear club.
Norway Bears is a club for gay men that enjoys being with other men in a friendly, jovial way. These web pages present us and the Norwegian part of the international bear movement.

You'll find information about our events in our Bear Calendar. In the Bear Gallery you'll find pics of Norwegian Bears. Most of the site is in Norwegian, but there is some information in English, too.

Europride 2005


Norway Bears have gotten som media coverage with regards to the Europride event in June in Oslo the summer of 2006 We've had some articles written only about us (Norwegian and Swedish only): And we've been included in some picture series that shows some of our performances and the winning fleet of Norway Bears in the big Euro Pride parade (mostly Norwegian, a few English): Have you seen any web sites writing something about Norway Bears not includes in these links? Please send it in here.

With many new members the last year, we need a top 10 list of things NOT to do/say at a bear party

Don't put velcro on the walls or wear it yourself
Don's say: "This place is packed!"
Don't(?) play dead (with your ass sticking up)
Don't complain about hair in your beer
Do not give out free depilatory cream
Don't sit in a corner and cry BAAH!
Do not say bad things about the Eurovision Song Contest
Don't dress up in a sheep's wool coat
Don't ask anyone: "Is this real fur or fake?"
Don't ask anyone: "So, you brought your father to the bear party?"
